Terms and conditions of sale

Below are our General Terms and Conditions. These apply to any use of our website including the placing of an order, and contain important information for you as buyer. So please read the General Terms and Conditions carefully. We recommend that you save or print these terms and conditions so that you can read them again at a later time.


1 Rings4Wings is a part of Smisdom Plastics nv located in Sint-Truiden and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under commercial register number HR Hasselt 78.198, trading under the name Smisdom Plastics nv.
2 Website: the website of Rings4Wings, which can be consulted at www.rings4wings.com and all of its subdomains.
3 Customer: the natural person, not acting in the exercise of a profession or for a company, who has concluded an Agreement with Rings4Wings and/or has registered on the Website.
4 Agreement: each arrangement or agreement between Rings4Wings and the Customer, of which agreement the General Terms and Conditions form an integral part.
5 General Terms and Conditions: the present General Terms and Conditions.


1 The General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, agreements and deliveries of Rings4Wings, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
2 If in its order, confirmation or notice containing acceptance, the Customer includes terms or conditions that differ from or are not contained in the General Terms and Conditions, these are binding on Rings4Wings only if and insofar as they have been explicitly accepted in writing by Rings4Wings.
3 In the event that, in addition to these General Terms and Conditions, specific product or service terms and conditions apply, these terms and conditions also apply, but in the case of conflicting terms and conditions, the Customer may always appeal to the applicable provision that is most favourable to him.


1 All prices quoted on the Website and in other Rings4Wings' materials include VAT. For countries that do not belong to the EU, it is possible that import duties must be paid on delivery.

2 If shipping costs are charged, this will be clearly stated in time, before conclusion of the Agreement. In addition, these costs will be shown separately in the ordering process.
3 The content of the Website has been compiled with the utmost care. However, Rings4Wings cannot guarantee that all information on the Website is accurate and complete at all times. All prices and other information on the Website and in other Rings4Wings' materials are therefore subject to obvious programming and typing errors.
4 Rings4Wings cannot be held liable for (colour) deviations due to display screen quality.


1 The Agreement is concluded at the time of Customer acceptance of the Rings4Wings' offer and compliance with the associated terms and conditions imposed by Rings4Wings.
2 If the Customer accepts the offer electronically, Rings4Wings will immediately electronically confirm receipt of acceptance of the offer. As long as receipt of this acceptance has not been confirmed, the Customer has the option to terminate the Agreement.
3 If it appears in the acceptance or conclusion otherwise of the Agreement that the Customer has provided incorrect information, Rings4Wings is entitled to fulfil its obligation only after the correct information has been received.
4 Rings4Wings may inform itself, within the limits of the law, concerning whether the Customer is able to meet its payment obligations, but also concerning all the facts and factors relevant to responsibly concluding the Agreement. If, on the basis of this investigation, Rings4Wings has good grounds for not concluding the Agreement, it is entitled to refuse an order or request, or to impose special conditions such as prepayment.
5 Rings4Wings has the right to refuse orders from Customers acting in the exercise of their profession or for their company.


1 Once the order has been received by Rings4Wings, Rings4Wings will ship the products as soon as possible, subject to due observance of paragraph 3 of this Article.
2 Rings4Wings is entitled to use third parties to execute the obligations arising from the Agreement.
3 It will be clearly described on the Website, in time, before conclusion of the Agreement, how delivery will be made and within which period the products will be delivered. If no delivery period has been agreed or stated, the products will in any case be delivered within 30 days.
4 If Rings4Wings is unable to deliver the products within the agreed period, it will inform the Customer of this. In this case, the Customer may agree to a new delivery date, or may terminate the Agreement without penalty.
5 Rings4Wings recommends that the Customer inspect the delivered products within a reasonable period of time and report the defects identified, preferably in writing or by email. See also the Article on warranty and compliance.
6 As soon as the products to be delivered are delivered to the specified shipping address, the risk to which these products relate transfers to the Customer. If it is explicitly agreed otherwise, the risk transfers to the Customer earlier.
7 Rings4Wings is entitled to supply a similar product of similar quality to the ordered product, if the ordered product is no longer available. The Customer is then entitled to terminate the Agreement without penalty and return the product free of charge.


1 The Customer is entitled to terminate the remotely concluded Rings4Wings Agreement within 14 calendar days of receipt of the product, without indication of the reasons and free of charge. The period referred to in paragraph 1 shall commence on the day after the Customer, or a third party designated by him that is not the carrier, has received the product, or:
· if the Customer has ordered multiple products in the same order: the date on which the Customer, or a third party designated by him, received the last product.
· if the delivery of a product consists of multiple shipments or parts: the date on which the Customer, or a third party designated by him, received the last shipment or the last part;
· in the case of agreements for regular delivery of products for a certain period of time: the date on which the Customer, or a third party designated by him, received the first product.
2 Only the direct costs for the return shipment will be borne by the Customer. The Customer must therefore bear the return costs. If these costs are higher than the regular shipping rate, Rings4Wings will provide an estimate of these costs.
Any costs paid by the Customer for shipping of the product to the Customer, and payment for the Product, will be refunded to the Customer upon return of the entire order.
3 The Customer will carefully handle the product and the packaging within the cancellation period referred to in paragraph 1. The Customer will open the package and use the product only to the extent necessary to check the type, characteristics and operation of the products. The assumption here is that this inspection should not go beyond that which the Customer could accomplish in a physical shop.
4 The Customer is solely responsible for the loss in value of the product resulting from handling the product in a manner that goes beyond that which is allowed in the previous paragraph.
5 The Customer may terminate the Agreement within the time limit set in paragraph 1 of this Article by sending to Rings4Wings the standard cancellation form (digitally), or otherwise clearly informing Rings4Wings that he is cancelling the purchase. In the case of a digital notification, Rings4Wings will confirm receipt of this notification. After cancelling, the Customer has 14 days to return the product. It is also possible to return the product immediately within the cooling-off period specified in paragraph 1 of this Article, subject to enclosure of the standard cancellation form or other clear statement of cancellation.

6 Amounts already paid by the Customer (in advance) will be repaid to the Customer in the same manner that the Customer paid for the order, as soon as possible but no later than 14 days after termination of the Agreement. If the Customer has chosen a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery, Rings4Wings is not required to refund the additional cost for the more expensive method.
Unless Rings4Wings offers to pick up the product, Rings4Wings may wait for repayment until Rings4Wings has received the product or until the Customer demonstrates that he has returned the product, whichever is earlier.
7 On the Website, information on the applicability of the right to cancel and a possible desired procedure will be clearly stated in time, before conclusion of the Agreement.
8 The right to cancel does not apply to:
-Products made by the company in accordance with specifications given by the consumer;
-Products that can spoil or age quickly;


1 The Customer must make payments to Rings4Wings according to the payment methods indicated in the order process and possibly on the Website. Rings4Wings is free in the choice of the payment methods offered, and these can change from time to time.


1 Rings4Wings guarantees that the products comply with the Agreement, the specifications given in the offer, the reasonable requirements of reliability and/or usability, and legal requirements or government regulations existing on the date of conclusion of the agreement. If specifically agreed, Rings4Wings also guarantees that the product is suitable for other than normal use.
2 A warranty provided by Rings4Wings does not affect the legal rights and claims that the Customer already has and may claim under the Agreement.
3 If the delivered product does not conform to the Agreement, the Customer shall notify Rings4Wings thereof within a reasonable period after having discovered the defect.
4 If Rings4Wings considers the complaint to be well-founded, after consultation with the Customer, the relevant products will be repaired, replaced or reimbursed. Maximum compensation is equal to the price of the product paid by the Customer. This Article does not preclude possible compensation for damages.


1 If the Customer has a complaint about a Product (in accordance with the warranty and compliance) and/or other aspects of Rings4Wings' service, he may lodge a complaint with Rings4Wings by phone, email or post. See the contact details at the bottom of the General Terms and Conditions.
2 Rings4Wings will respond to the Customer's complaint as quickly as possible, but at least within 7 days of receipt of the complaint. If it is not yet possible to give a substantive or final response, Rings4Wings will confirm within 7 days of receipt of the complaint and indicate the period within which it expects to respond substantively or definitively to the Customer's complaint.


1 Rings4Wings processes the personal data of the Customer in accordance with the privacy statement published on the Website.


1 The Agreement is governed by Belgian law.
2 Insofar as compulsory law prescribes nothing different, all disputes arising from the Agreement shall be brought before the competent Belgian court of the judicial district where Rings4Wings is located.
3 If a stipulation in these General Terms and Conditions should turn out to be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the entire General Terms and Conditions. In this case, the parties will adopt (a) new stipulation(s) as a replacement that lawfully meets the aim of the original stipulation as much as possible.
4 "Written" in these General Terms and Conditions also means communication by email and fax, provided that the sender's identity and the integrity of the email are sufficiently certain.
